Vector Files

When preparing artwork for signage, vehicle graphics, or print materials, the correct file format is essential. Vector files ensure the highest quality output and allow us to produce crisp, clean results at any size.

What is a Vector File?

A vector file is artwork made from mathematical lines and shapes rather than pixels. Unlike standard images (such as JPG or PNG files), vector graphics can be scaled up or down without losing clarity. This makes them ideal for large-format printing and vinyl production.

If a logo or graphic is not in vector format, it may appear blurry, jagged, or distorted when enlarged for signage.

Which File Types Are Considered Vector?

We accept the following vector formats for sign production and vinyl cutting:

.ai — Adobe Illustrator
.eps — Encapsulated PostScript
.pdf — Printable Vector PDF
(Some PDFs may contain non-vector artwork. We are happy to check your files and let you know.)

Why We Need Vector Artwork

Vector files allow us to:

• Resize artwork to any dimension without losing quality
• Ensure sharp edges and smooth curves
• Make design or layout adjustments when needed
• Prepare your artwork for clean production output

Providing vector files helps speed up your project and ensures the best finished product.
